Being a relatively new driver for Uber, I had quite a high rating for a while there at 4.96 after around 100 trips.
I checked the Uber app recently and it dipped down to 4.91. I know it's still quite good, but I'd like to know what more I could have done to avoid the dreaded 1,2,3 or four star rating???
I am always extremely polite and haven't had any real issues yet apart from the odd drunk passenger after midnight.
How are your ratings going and have you heard of any other driver being deactivated by Uber?
I've heard that if a driver falls below a 4.5 rating, Uber will send you a message about the possibility of being deactivated!

Unfortunately it's just one of those things us Uber drivers have to deal with.
Sometimes no matter what you do, you are bound to pick up a PAX with a bad attitude. You get them safely from A to B. You are polite and drive safely, then BAm your ratings takes a hit with a 1 star for "Professionalism".
What a joke! You just have to deal with it and take the good with the bad.

Once you've had 500 ratings on Uber, it really does start to even out.
If you cop a low rating it will have little effect.
As mentioned don't worry about Uber ratings too much unless you get near a rating of around 4.6.
Remember, ratings don't actually pay your bills.

Getting used to it now. Every now and then you get a low rating, but it doesn't really bother me now. Still up around 4.86.
